                        EFFECTIVE 2/17/09 TDI REQUIREMENTS  

Course providers have 30 days following completion of a course to notify the TDI that a licensee has completed a course.    The provider can be fined $100 for each improperly completed certificate.  So do the provider a favor and ask them if they are aware of the new TDI requirements.  There will also be a fee charged to the provider of $.75 per hour per student/attendee. This is not the case for CE classes that are also being taken for a designation such as CIC, CPCU, AU, etc.  www.tdi.state.tx.us for more information.
